Alpha Epsilon Delta has participated in Relay for Life since the existence of our organization began at the University of South Florida. Relay for Life is an event hosted by the American Cancer Society to raise money for those battling cancer and their families. By participating in this event, we raise awareness on our campus and in the community about this horrible disease, and help get one step closer to curing cancer!

 

Each year we prepare for the event by choosing a team theme, create an elaborate set up for our tent, and then stay at the event for over 12 hours to raise funds for ACS. If you are a member of the Tampa community, please consider joining us next spring for the event! You can also review the links below to learn more or get involved in other ways, such as dedicating a Luminaria to a loved one who is either currently fighting, beat cancer, or lost their battle.

We hope to raise money throughout the year by holding bake sales on campus as well as by individual team member fundraising! Last year, Advertising Chair Gianna Gambino raised over $300 for the American Cancer Society!!! We hope to raise even more this year!
